Los Jardines is an established apartment complex situated in Calahonda, just outside Marbella, and offering some of the finest facillities you can find anywhere in Spain. The apartment on offer is situated on the 1st and 2nd floors, privately owned and available for short term holiday letting throughout the year.
Air-Conditioned BEDROOMS
The owners use the apartment themselves and take great pride in keeping all the facillities in "tip top" condition. The accommodation comprises 3 Bedrooms with full air-conditioning, large Lounge/Dining area and fully equipped kitchen and can accommodate upto 6 people. The balconies overlook mature landscaped gardens and a communal swimming pool, all available for residents use.
The property is let as a unit and will comfortably accommodate 4 people, so would be ideal for a family group or small golfing party.
A short 10 minute traffic-free walk takes you to the beach or nearest shops at Los Cypresses by walking down a picturesque path, passing a small park and garden centre.
Calahonda is centrally located for trips to Marbella (15 mins), Puerto Banus (20 mins), Ronda (1 hour), Granada (2 hours) and many other attractions. Car hire is recommended although there is convenient public transport available. Taxis are reasonably priced and a handy car train provides service to and from the shops at El Zoco.
The traditional village of Mijas is only 20 mins away and Benalmadena, a lively resort with beautiful sandy beaches, 30 mins away.
Whilst the apartment complex is quiet and peaceful, those seeking sporting activities can choose from some of the finest golf courses in Spain, tennis courts and water-sports centres.
There are many top class restaurants nearby and all manner of nightclubs and casinos to make for an enjoyable and unforgettable stay.
Location
Calahonda is located at the very heart of the Costa del Sol midway between the popular resorts of Marbella and Fuengirola. Just a 30 minute drive from Malaga's new International Airport with daily flights from the UK, it is ideally located for most people's leisure needs. There are miles of sandy beaches with clear blue seas, most are completely safe for small children. You are never far from the necessary amenities with bars, restaurants, supermarkets, shops, banks and medical centres nearby. Whilst there are good and frequent local bus services, as well as a rail link to the principal centres, car hire is recommended if you wish to experience all that the area has to offer, even if only for part of your stay.
Places to See
Marbella - Features a very popular promenade with smart restaurants and bars overlooking the town beach. Orange Square in the old part of the town is well worth a visit.
Mijas Pueblo - Although this traditional village has been re-developed with tourists in mind, it nonetheless, remains one of the prettiest in Spain and, with its Donkey Taxis, is very popular with children. It also boasts a mineral water spring at the entrance to the village.
Puerto Banus - Experience how "the other half" live; this town has seen rapid growth over the last twnty years and is renowned for its luxury yachts, restaurants and bars. The night life is dazzling and is a "must see" location.
Benalmadena - Another Spanish town that has seen spectacular growth in recent years. Especially worth seeing is the Marina Plaza with its winding marine walkways with shops and restaurants galore. It boasts a 2km long promenade overlooking some wonderful safe beaches. Also worth a visit is the Tivoli World water theme park.
Ronda - is a spectacular village with its world famous river gorge and one of the oldest and most beautiful bullrings in Spain.
Nerja - Here can be found the spectacular "Balcón de Europe", a promenade running along the edge of a towering cliff. Nearby are the world famous Nerja Caves of prehistoric origin with quaint little villages all around like Frigiliana with its white houses glinting in the sunlight.

Torremolinos - Aqua Park - great for kids and grown-ups alike.
Fuengirola - Parque Aquatico Mijas - slightly smaller than Aqua Park but still a good day out. Go-Karting - try out you skills on 2 circuits, all age groups catered for.
Benalmadena - Tivoli World - water theme park for all ages, open evenings to midnight. Telecabina - cable car ride with spectacular views of the coast.
Estepona - Dolphin Safari - travel out to sea in specially adapted boats to see and touch dolphins in the wild. Selwo Adventure Safari - safari park that brings the African wilderness to Spain, see elephants, lions and buffalo in a natural environment.
